Adrenalift™ — (tonic) — this proprietary formula is loaded with Maca alkaloids and specifically selected herb complexes that support the healthy function of the adrenals*. Adrenalift™ works by nourishing both the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis (1-maca) and the Sympathetic Nervous System*. (SNS)(2,3,4-oats). It provides tonifying energy through phytonutrients such as carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, alkaloids, saponins (6-suma) and amino acids*. (maca-5,jatoba-6,astragalus-3,oats-2,3,4).
The synergy of herbs in Adrenalift™ works in unison to aid the body in maintaining homeostasis, the body’s normal systemic balance*. The body responds to physical and mental stressors, the allostatic load, in an attempt to achieve the dynamic equilibrium called allostasis*. The more beneficial ingredients the body has to work with, the easier it is to reach allostasis and ultimately homeostasis.(10)*
Adrenalift™ can be used as a tonic for athletic energy in physical workouts and to facilitate fat metabolism and balance mood swings.*(1, 2, 7, 8, 15) Adrenalift™ can also help the body deal with chronic stress, which has been identified as a factor in many degenerative diseases.*(8-15) The cumulative nature of physical or emotional stress can deplete the adrenal glands, and lead to a condition called hyperadaptosis in which hypothalamic sensitivity to cortisol is diminished by prolonged exposure to cortisol and leads to the chronic hyperactivity of the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal Axis.*(7) Adrenalift™ was formulated to protect, tone, and nourish weak or ailing adrenals and support the endocrine system*.
